The floating 'moon' is set into the face with a solid brass rods for strength and durability. The solid walnut base provides excellent stability and the tray will easily accommodate a 4-record set, or iPad tablet with a protective, gel cover. Wood and marble are natural materials and as such, each piece is fully unique. Your stand may have color or grain variations from what is shown. All LP stands are sanded by hand to a fine grit, and matte finished in hard wax/oil. This creates a rich, natural look that is durable, silky smooth to the touch, and is water and stain-resistant. Non-skid, rubber feet on the bottom protect your furniture from scratches.
